Welcome to Ask Dr. Baha (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using this website and its services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking or using any service.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. Nature of Services
Ask Dr. Baha provides online medical consultation services for informational and advisory purposes through video, audio, or chat. Services offered include, but are not limited to:
- General Online Consultation
- Follow-Up Consultation
- E-Prescription / Medication Refill
- Laboratory Test Interpretation
- Fertility & Reproductive Health Consultation
- Sexual Health & STI Consultation
All consultations are provided remotely and are not a substitute for physical examination or emergency medical care.
2. Medical Disclaimer
- Online consultations are based solely on the information provided by the client.
- Diagnoses, prescriptions, and advice may be limited due to the absence of physical examination.
- In case of medical emergencies, severe symptoms, or life-threatening conditions, you must seek immediate in-person medical care or visit the nearest hospital.
- Ask Dr Baha does not guarantee outcomes, cures, or specific results.
3. Eligibility
By using this Platform, you confirm that:
- You are 18 years or older, or
- You have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.
4. Booking & Payment
- All services must be paid for in advance before a consultation is confirmed.
- Prices are displayed in Ghana Cedis (₵) and are subject to change without prior notice.
- Payments are processed securely via approved payment platforms.
Service Pricing
- General Online Consultation – ₵60
- Follow-Up Consultation – ₵35
- E-Prescription / Medication Refill – ₵25
- Laboratory Test Interpretation – ₵35
- Fertility & Reproductive Health Consultation – ₵60
- Sexual Health & STI Consultation – ₵60
5. Consultation Duration
Each consultation has a standard duration of approximately 20 minutes. Additional time is not guaranteed and may require a new booking.
6. E-Prescriptions
- Prescriptions are issued only when medically appropriate.
- Certain medications may require an in-person evaluation and will not be prescribed online.
- Prescriptions are subject to Ghana Health regulations and professional medical judgment.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
- Clients may reschedule or cancel appointments at least 6 hours before the scheduled time.
- Missed appointments or late cancellations may not be refunded.
- Refunds, where applicable, are issued at the sole discretion of Ask Dr. Baha.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful medical information.
- Use the Platform responsibly and respectfully.
- Not misuse the Platform for illegal, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
Providing false or misleading information may result in termination of services.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
Your personal and medical information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Ask Dr. Baha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.
- The Platform is provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on Ask Dr. Baha, including text, logos, graphics, and design, is the property of Ask Dr. Baha and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
